During this month I will participate in a code challenge with the aim of learning a language or framework different from the ones I am already used to working with. One of the most relevant aspects when participating in this challenge is getting out of the comfort zone.

Getting Out of the Comfort Zone

For that reason, the language I decided to learn is Go. During most of my professional career, my programming language has been Java (and related frameworks/tools). Also for a period of time I have been learning JVM-based languages. I was flirting with Scala, Kotlin or Groovy.

Next Steps

During the month I will be creating repositories with different examples made in Go to get comfortable. I hope to be able to share several of them in case you are curious to see the progress.
